There are so many things in our lives that we must attend to. People and situations come and go even tests and trials but the love of Christ goes no where. His love is there through the good and bad times even when you make the worst mistakes, he’s there. The word asks us the question who shall separate us from the love of christ? Romans 8:35 Is there anything in your life far more valuable than the love of Christ. In this text of Romans Chapter 8:38-39, Paul says he is persuaded that nothing will separate him from the love of Christ. Are you persuaded? DO you know there’s no greater love than the love of Christ? He died for the atonement of our sins and Jesus said it himself that there’s no greater love than for a man to lay his life down for his friends John 15:13. And he called whom he was speaking to friends. Most of the time he was talking to his disciples. Are you a disciple of Christ? Can he call you friend? Ask yourself these questions and examine yourself. It’s important to understand where you are so that you can work toward a better relationship and understanding with him. His love is there for you to receive because his love is far more greater than anyone you know.
When you participate in activities, you do them because you heard about and wanted to be apart. When you hear something it’s up to you to do what you hear. The word tells us to b e doers of the word and not hearers only. James 1:22-23 We deceive ourselves when we don’t take an active role in doing the word. If you are not a doer, you could be someone who reflects on what you hear. When you reflect you ponder over and think about where things fit in your puzzle. There is something greater in store for a doer of the word. God anticipates on blessing his servants and those who keep his commandments and statues. Keep the word close til it becomes apart of your heart. What is in our hearts comes out in our actions, thoughts, and words. If the word is in your heart, people will see it in your actions, thoughts, and words. If you act, think, and talk in formation with the word of God people will notice a good thing about you.
As a soldier in the army of the Lord, we should be strong in the Lord knowing he is with us in battle. You should put on the armour of God so that you can fight against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 It is not our neighbor we fight against it is the principalities and the rulers of darkness that we fight. God has given his people the whole armour so that we may be able to stand in that evil day against any demonic spirit that comes against us. The armour consists of loins girt about with truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit which the word of God. All of these things prepare us for the day the devil comes against us. God has given us the equipment to not war after the flesh but to fight the devil and any principality that exalts itself. Where we do battle with the devil is in the spirit through prayer. Faithfully making our petitions known to God is how we come against any of the enemy’s tactics.
Refer to Ephesians 6:10-17
Be confident in knowing that the lord is on your side. Despite of the situation, don’t fear what man will do to you. In ancient times when scripture was written, a lot of God’s people faced death and had to be strong. So in Psalms 118:6 shows the courage of a person not fearing death or whatever they faced with man in authority. Today people still face death in situations where there is violence present. People are also put in instances where they have to represent Christ and the Father in their choices. The word says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power, of love, and a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7. Don’t let the spirit of fear come in and sit with you where you become discouraged. Be of good courage and know that the Lord is with you in your circumstances.
When speaking of God don’t speak in the wisdom of man but through the demonstration of the spirit and of power. I Corinthians 2:4 Let your faith stand in the power of God and not in the wisdom of men because man can let you down. I Corinthians 2:5 BUT God won’t fail you. Ask God to let you have his wisdom. For the word says to speak the wisdom of God in mystery. The word also says that God reveals things by his spirit because the spirit search all things, especially the deep things of God. I Corinthians 2:10 As you grow a relationship with him, he will start to reveal himself in his wisdom. He will give revelation on his word and truth. Having a relationship with God entails his spiritual guidance. As the truth and wisdom is revealed to you, God is preparing you for the things to come big or small. Expect God’s greatness as he shows you evidence in your life that he is performing his word. Sometimes you go through things and you get no where, but with God expect a breakthrough. Expect for good things to happen to those who are faithful to him. Have an expectancy for goodness that only God can assure.
You can’t serve two masters. Matthew 6:24 Having your cake and eating it too is not how the kingdom of God works. Wake up call being enforced: You cannot inherit the kingdom of God being shady and backstabbing. 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 The word tells us that people with different sins and weaknesses that are habitual habits can’t inherit the kingdom. Whether it be a fornicator, idolaters, or adulterer, etc., it matters to God as to what you do in secret. The place no one knows about. Doing your dealings with sin will lead to a place destruction. You can’t be those things and serve God to. Those who hate sin love God. Those who love sin hate the Lord. In Revelation, Jesus called people who straddle the fence, luke warm neither cold or hot. Revelation 3:15,16 This is where he will spit you out. In the bible, it also says that people will do work in his name and he’ll say depart from him, he knows you not. The word says to love the lord and keep his commandments. One way of loving him is saying goodbye to the devil. Stop sleeping with the enemy that who the devil is! The enemy wants nothing but to steal, kill, and destroy and God wants you have life and life abundantly John 10:10.
God will make you complete in him. Whatever is missing in your life, God is able to make your life more fulfilling and meaningful. The word says that you are complete in him. Colossians 2:10 When being made complete, he has given you everything it takes to be one of his disciples. He will complete you by fulfilling every need and want both spiritual and physical. God can produce results that ate out of the ordinary. He is an extraordinary God. The word says he will supply all your needs according to his riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 God has everything you need. All you have to do is switch systems. Get off the world system and get into the kingdom system. Let God take care of you. He will lift every burden you have, he will solve every problem that comes. God will make you complete
